Advertising photographer based in London

Alister Thorpe began working as a professional photographer in the early 1990s. Commissioned by agencies and clients alike, he has developed a highly professional and creative approach to his work and an ability to handle the largest of productions. Recent commissions include a challenging four day shoot for Land Rover in the sub-freezing temperatures of the Arctic Circle, a new product for VW in Dubai, a portrait of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Olympic athletes for the 2012 games and a travel story for Toyota in Copenhagen. His work takes him to a multitude of different places, and his often iconic imagery is much in demand. His cinematic style and acute sense of light and the environment play a strong hand in his automotive, landscape and portraiture portfolios. He works on a variety of digital platforms and likes to produce highly refined digital images for his clients. He now works from a large studio in Shoreditch, London.
